Work closely with the Art Director to prepare projects for printing: handling mechanicals and
scanning art;
preparing jacket, cover, binding and interior mechanicals, and more. Manage artist and archiving
files, handle vital administrative needs, and keep the design team updated on the status of all
projects.
If you're a pro on Macs with Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator; a college graduate or have experience
in graphic design, typography and illustration; if you're a terrific communicator and a great writer;
a fast juggler and a pressure seeker; if you're all these and a lover of children's books, we're eager
to meet you.
